During winter weather, it is possible the library may need to close. In order to determine if the library is open call 419-669-3415, if you get the answering machine we are closed. No fines will be added to patron files on days the library closes due to weather conditions.
Schools in our Area
Weston and Grand Rapids Branch Libraries serve Otsego High School, Otsego Middle School, Grand Rapids Elementary and Haskins Elementary.
Programs and Services
Preschool Storytimes are planned for children ages 3 to kindergarten. Storytimes are held in Weston every Wednesday at 1:30 PM, and at Grand Rapids Branch every Tuesday at 1:30 PM.
Library staff welcome classroom visits and will travel to book-related occasions for special reading programs.
As a service to educators, the library will provide reserved collections and will accept required study lists in advance of assignments being given to elementary and secondary students.
Collections
Book/tape kits, A/V materials and popular picture books are available to children, families, teachers, day-care providers and service agencies.
Check out our contemporary collections for junior high and teenage reading. Non-fiction materials assist in school research while popular paperbacks and magazines are available for fun and relaxation.
Electronic Resources include computer and internet services.

Book a time to make precise numbers, letters or shapes for your bulletin boards or crafts! Open and free to teachers, Scout leaders and any member of the community. You must supply your own paper.
